Calling all NC and NCC male alumni and friends! Come enjoy fellowship while watching the NFL Playoffs and College Basketball games.
There will be silent auction items and raffles. The event is cash only. Come join the Fun!

Cost: $25 or $15 for Seniors (65+) – CASH ONLY! Admission includes beer, soft drinks, coneys, and turtle soup.
ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Newport Central Catholic is proud to announce its twenty-fifth class of inductees into its Athletic Hall of Fame: Tom Freppon, Jr. ’83, Christy Hater Eby ’88, Marc Hennessy ’75, Nikki Kiernan ’14, Chris Meyer ’00, Larry Staverman ’54 (posthumously) and Matt Wagenlander ’03. Also being honored as the “Team of Distinction” is the 2012 Football Class 2A State Champion Team.
The induction ceremony for these men and women will occur on Saturday, February 21, 2026, in the Newport Central Catholic Gymnasium. The evening will begin with a social hour at 6 PM, followed by dinner and the induction ceremony at 7 PM. The cost of the event is $30.00, and reservations and payment will be accepted before February 6 in the form of cash, check, credit card, Venmo @NewCath, or online via the button below. NCCHS will be awarding the Coach Jim Connor Award to Mr. Ernie Liggett ’63. In addition, the Fr. John Hegenauer Community Service Award will be given to Mr. Joe Koehling ’60 for his commitment and stewardship to Newport Central Catholic.
All proceeds from the event directly support the athletic programs at Newport Central Catholic.
