Mrs. Colleen Swaim.

STUDENT GOVERNMENT
Student Government at NCC is lead by Mr.
Dave Lloyd. It is the link between
the students and the administration. Student Government's job is to be the
voice
of the student body and to lead and promote the school. Student Government
sponsors several dances a year, pep club, spirit days, and pep rallies.
The group
also assists with open houses, get acquainted week, big brother/sister
program,
summer work projects and more. In the fall, freshman students are given
the
opportunity to consider running for homeroom representatives.

STUDENT NEWSPAPER
For over twenty years, Ms. Helen Pence
has served as the Faculty Advisor to
the school newspaper, The Hilltopper. Writing for the paper is open to all
classes and every student is welcome to join by coming to the monthly
production meetings. What makes our newspaper unique is the ability of our
students to write on a topic that interests them. The focus of this year's
newspaper is to make the student body aware of the world around them and
to
let them be heard within the school community. Generally, six newspapers
will
be published. Also a tradition here at NCC, the final "Senior Paper" will
be
issued in May.

STUDENTS FOR LIFE
NCC Students For Life has over 10 years of existence.
Mr. Ron Auteri

various
pro-life issues ranging from abortion to euthanasia. It is hoped that they
will
develop a deeper respect for human life from the moment of conception to
natural death. We try to achieve this goal through emphasis on prayer,
sacraments, education, and involvement in activities.

are
considered candidates to the program. Membership is an honor bestowed upon
a student. Selection is by a majority vote by a faculty committee and is
based

NCC BLOOD DRIVE COMMITTEE
The Blood Drive committee works in conjunction with Hoxworth Blood
Center
to host donor drives three times per year. The events are held in the fall
and
spring trimesters. NCC is proud to give back to the community in this
capacity. It has been ranked in the top 5 high schools in Greater
Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky year after year for the large number of
donors
recruited for this event. We hope to continue this tradition.
Mrs. Shelley
Wykle is the contact person for the Blood Drive Committee.

NCC DRAMA CLUB
The NCC Drama Club gives students an understanding of theatre and
allows
them an opportunity to express themselves through fine arts. Performance
opportunities are a wonderful way to assist with self-confidence and self
esteem. Students may choose to be a part of the Drama Club without being
on
the school play. There are typically just as many students helping off the
stage
as actors on the stage. NCC is dedicated to the total drama experience of
learning, commitment, and theatre. Mr. Kevan
Brown is the Drama Club
Faculty Advisor.
