Our website URL is http://ncchs.com . If you visit our web site on a regular basis, there are two ways of doing this to make things faster: (1) Add our website to your FAVORITES - simply click on your browser's FAVORITES and then click on ADD TO FAVORITES. HONOR ROLL REQUIREMENTS

Remember that honor roll is computed based on a weighted GPA. This takes into account honors and AP classes. To make first honors a student's overall weighted GPA must be 4.0 or higher and the student may not have any grade below an 87%. In order to make second honors a student's overall weighted GPA must be 3.50 or higher with no grade below a 79%. You will receive a letter with your child's report card stating their honor roll status. For monitoring purposes, we do not link to NCC school related sites (no exceptions - i.e., sports and clubs) - if it's worth viewing, it's worth adding to our Official Web Site. (Back to top)

NCC SCENE

Beginning in 2005, our web site will include current and back issues of NCC Scene (school newspaper publication not to be confused with the students' newpaper "The Hilltopper"). DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO NCC

I 471 (North)

Take Exit 3 – Newport/Ft. Thomas Exit
Bear left on the exit ramp. The ramp will take you to Grand Ave/Carothers Rd.
Count three traffic lights
At the third light turn right (You will be entering the access road to Kmart)
Bear to your right and follow the sign up our hill.
The gym entrance is the door with the thoroughbred on the roof. (Back to top)

I 471 (South)

Take Exit 3 – Newport/Ft. Thomas Exit
Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp. You will be on Grand Ave/Carothers Rd.
Count two traffic lights – not counting the one at the bottom of the ramp
At the second light turn right (You will be entering the access road to Kmart)
Bear to your right and follow the sign up our hill.
The gym entrance is the door with the thoroughbred on the roof.

Directions to Newport Stadium for Football

I-471 North

Take exit #5 Newport /Bellevue Exit. Turn Right. Turn right on Riveria Drive (Corner of Party Source). Turn Right onto Sixth Street . Make a left into Newport High School Parking Lot. Drive ½ mile and park under I-471. The football stadium is behind the baseball field and tennis courts.

I-471 South

Take exit #5 Newport /Bellevue Exit. Follow the loop until you come to Dave Cowens Drive. Turn Right. At the third traffic light turn right on Riveria Drive (Corner of Party Source). Turn Right onto Sixth Street . Make a left into Newport High School Parking Lot. Drive ½ mile and park under I-471.

Directions to Morscher Field - NCC BASEBALL HOME FIELD

I-471 South to U.S. 27

Go approximately 3 miles to State Route 1998.

Turn left onto S.R. 1998.

Turn right on to Route 8.

Go approximately 2 miles and Morscher Field is on the right. (Back to top)

Where would I send updates for the newsletter on Alumni happenings?

Updates and Alumni information should be sent to Tessy Krebs. If you want something added to our web site, this should be emailed to Mary Ciafardini.

What is the policy on students with cell phones?

Students may have cell phones however they must be turned off and out of sight during school hours.
